Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully.
All bookings made through this website, our booking engine, or direct with Port Lincoln Foreshore Apartments (PLFA) are subject to these Terms and Conditions.
1. Payment Terms
1.1 Accepted methods of payment when booking online are by Visa or Mastercard , or by Visa, Mastercard or internet banking when booking direct with PLFA. A $10 processing fee is payable per booking, to cover service, credit card surcharges and administration fees.
1.2 Online and Direct Bookings: A non-refundable deposit equal to 30% of your total booking must be received to confirm your booking.
Full payment will be requested 30 days prior to your scheduled day of arrival or, if your booking is made within 30 days of your scheduled day of arrival, at the time of booking. Any unpaid balance existing 10 days prior to travel will be automatically deducted from the credit card provided at the time of booking.
If any deposit or final payment is not received by the due date, PLFA reserves the right to cancel the booking and any monies paid by you in relation to your booking will be forfeited to PLFA.
1.3 Extended Stay Bookings: The extended stay rates we offer are discounted and therefore are best suited to those guests who want to trade flexibility for a discount. These rates require full pre-payment of the first 28-nights at time of booking which is not refundable or transferable, should your extended plans change.
2. Cancellation Policy
2A TEMPORARY CANCELLATION POLICY DUE TO COVID-19 TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS
The safety of our guests is of utmost importance. As a result of any official travel advice received from Government organisations about the Coronavirus (COVID-19), where guests are unable to travel to or stay at our property due to the area being severely affected, we will arrange;
A) new dates for a future stay (different rates may apply), or
B) a credit issued for a future stay, for the value paid by the guest, or
C) wherever possible a full refund of any prepayment /deposit.
2B STANDARD CANCELLATION POLICY
If a booking is cancelled the following charges apply:
2.1 Up to 30 days prior to your scheduled check-in date: a 30% cancellation fee will apply, unless re-booked. Amendments are subject to availability and applicable pricing. A $50.00 amendment fee may apply.
2.2 Within 30 days but up to 7 days of your scheduled check-in date: a 50% cancellation fee will apply.
2.3 Within 7 days of your scheduled check-in date: a 100% cancellation fee will apply.
2.4 If you do not show up for your booking or terminate your booking early after you have checked in you will be charged a 100% cancellation fee.
2.5 As per clause 1.4 above, Extended Stay Bookings are non refundable and non transferable.
2.6 IMPORTANT: We strongly suggest that you book travel insurance to cover last minute cancellations, including those due to family illness, travel disruption, extreme weather or fire events, and other unforeseen circumstances. Our property is unable to refund in the event of last minute cancellations unless the room nights are fully re-booked.
3. Early Check-in
3.1 Standard check-in time is 2:00pm.
3.2 Early check-in must be arranged with the property Manager at the time of booking, and is subject to availability.
3.3 The following additional charges apply for pre-arranged early check-in:
3.3.1 A surcharge of $50.00 applies for check-in from 12:00 noon;
3.3.2 If you wish to guarantee your ability to check-in prior to 12:00 noon you must book an additional nights stay and pay the applicable rate for that additional night.
4. Late Check-Out
4.1 Standard check-out time is 10:00am.
4.2 Late check-out must be arranged with the property Manager at the time of booking, and is subject to availability.
4.3 The following additional charges apply for pre-arranged late check-out:
4.3.1 a surcharge of $50.00 applies for check-out between 10:00am and 12:00 noon;
4.3.2 if you fail to check-out by 12:00 noon, a charge equivalent to the full daily rate which applies to your booking will be charged.
4.4 If you have not pre-arranged a late check-out, and fail to do so by 10:00am, a charge equivalent to the full daily rate which applies to your booking will be charged.
5. Security Bond
5.1 PLFA have a strict No Party policy. Any behaviour regarded to be disturbing the peace will result in eviction from the property.
5.2 You must approve a credit card pre-authorisation at the time of booking. Payment of deposit constitutes acceptance of this term.
5.3 This authorisation may be used to cover incidental items including but not limited to, late check-out, lost keys, $200 security bond or deposit for any breakages/damages, excessive cleaning charges above the normal level of cleaning due to the apartment being left in an unacceptable state, etc.
5.4 In the event of a party, a $200 clean up fee will be automatically deducted from your credit card, in addition to any breakage/damage fees.
6. Apartments Services
6.1 PLFA is a self-catering apartment and therefore your booking does not include servicing. For bookings exceeding 5 days servicing can be arranged for a small fee by contacting the property Manager.
7. Additional Guest Prices
7.1 In most cases, additional guest prices for accommodation refer to people occupying existing bedding. Additional charges will apply if extra beds or linen (including rollaways, sofa beds or cots) are required.
8. Gift Certificate
8.1 PLFA Gift Certificates may only be used to pay for the accommodation portion of a booking and may not be used for other items not included in accommodation rates.
8.2 PLFA Gift Certificates are not refundable or redeemable for cash.
8.3 PLFA Gift Certificates are valid for 12 months from the date of issue.
8.4 Bookings fully or partially paid for using a PLFA Gift Certificate must be made direct with the property by calling the property Manager on 0448 790 114.
9. Use of Information
9.1 You consent and authorise PLFA to collect, use and disclose your personal information for the purposes of administering your booking and providing you with any services associated with your booking.
9.2 PLFA will not provide or disclose any information you have provided to any other person.
10. Unaccompanied Minors
10.1 All guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent, guardian or other adult who has parental rights and responsibilities for the under 18 year old guest.
10.2 If a guest is found to be a person under the age of 18 who is not accompanied by a responsible adult PLFA may immediately cancel the guest’s booking and the full booking amount will be forfeited to PLFA.
11. Release and Indemnity
11.1 To the extent permitted by the law, you agree to release and hold harmless PLFA, and its employees and agents against and from all expenses, costs, liabilities, claims, actions, proceedings, damages, judgments and losses of any kind whatsoever (including property loss/damage and damages for injury, including personal injury and death) resulting from your booking or your stay at property even if caused or contributed to by PLFA’s negligence, breach of duty or otherwise.
11.2 PLFA is not responsible for any loss arising out of any occurrences or conditions beyond its control, including but not limited to acts of terrorism, acts of God, defects in vehicles, war, strikes, theft, delay, cancellation, civil disorder, disaster, Government regulations or changes in itinerary or schedule. All travel documents, observance of laws and government regulations are your responsibility.
11.3 IMPORTANT: We strongly suggest that you book travel insurance to cover last minute cancellations, including those listed in clause 11.2 including, for example family illness, travel disruption, extreme weather or fire events, and other unforeseen circumstances.
